Mathilde Burkard is a French designer and illustrator based in Paris. She works with editors and interior designers to create bespoke patterns and decors. She also launched her own collections in 2023.

Throughout her career, Mathilde has worked with prestigious companies like Tai Ping Carpets and Maison Leleu, contributing to projects for leading interior design agencies such as Philippe Starck, Pierre-Yves Rochon, Affine Design, and Zuretti Interiors. She has also contributed to the creation of distinctive collections in partnership with renowned designers such as Stéphanie Coutas, Sam Baron and Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance.

In 2023, Mathilde launched her first wallpaper collection and panoramic murals. 

In 2024, Fort Street Studio invited her to curate its first artist-designed rug series, continuing the legacy of its founders.
